SHS SAPPHIRE Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinges are heavy duty and are great solution for bigger doors. They are designed for residential and hotel shower use.
Sometimes you can face the situation when you have to use more hinges for more support. For example, if you use 2 hinges of this kind, with 3/8” glass, then the hinge will hold up to 100lb with the door with up to 34”. If you use 2 hinges with 1/2” glass, the hinge will be able to hold 100lb. with a door width up to 32”. If you use 3 hinges with 3/8” glass, then the hinge will hold up to 130lb. with the door with up to 34”. If you use 3 hinges with 3/8” glass, the hinge will be able to hold 130lb. with a door width up to 34”. If you use 3 hinges with 1/2” glass, the hinge will be able to hold 130lb. with a door width up to 32”.
